Common questions
Is compounded semaglutide the same as Wegovy or Ozempic?
No. Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved. Branded Wegovy and Ozempic are FDA-approved products made by Novo Nordisk. Compounded versions are mixed by a pharmacy and are only legally available through a patient-specific 503A prescription now that the shortage has ended. We label every option as compounded or FDA-approved so you can see the difference.
Why is the 'all-in' price different from the advertised price?
Many providers advertise a low intro or first-month price, then the cost rises as your dose escalates or once membership and consult fees apply. Our all-in figure reflects the typical ongoing monthly cost including those fees, so you can compare providers on the same basis.
What does LegitScript-certified mean?
